ACCOMMODATION IN TURIN

LIVING AS A FAMILY
- Not far from the center or in quiet residential areas a short distance from the school, our host families (made up mostly of ladies who live alone) offer students comfortable accommodation, with breakfast only or half board (breakfast + dinner). Since the character of the Turinese is a bit reserved, the number of host families is limited. For booking it is recommended to contact us as early as possible.
- The coexistence between student and “family” requires the student to have a degree of flexibility and the ability to adapt to habits and lifestyles that will be different from their own. At the same time, this setting offers an unparalleled opportunity for total immersion in the language and Italian culture.
- Our Turin families, despite being a bit reserved, are very kind, ready to welcome our students and make them feel as if they were at home.
SHARED APARTMENTS
- Our shared apartments are comfortable and welcoming, they are not always very close to school and are suitable for students of all ages. Since Turin is a university city, the number of shared apartments is limited at certain times of the year, so we recommend that you contact us as early as possible for a booking.
- Living together with people from all over the world, students will be able to make new friends and continue to speak Italian even after classes but, at the same time, thanks to the comfortable accommodation in a single room, they will not have to give up their space and their own privacy. Also, you will find in Turin that the apartments are usually not occupied by more than 4-5 people. The use of the kitchen makes the shared apartment the ideal solution for those who do not want to give up cooking their own meals, to be enjoyed alone or in company.
PRIVATE APARTMENTS
- Students who want more independence and privacy will certainly appreciate our comfortable and welcoming private apartments, furnished with care and complete with every comfort.
- These accommodations are generally located in the center or in a semi-central area, a short distance from the school, and can be studios suitable for one person as well as larger apartments, suitable for groups of friends or families.
- It is easy to find independent apartments in Turin, but during spring and autumn (high season in the city) it is better to book well in advance. Prices, on request, vary according to the season, the length of the stay and the characteristics of the apartment.
- A security deposit is often required on arrival, and sometimes electricity and water costs are separate.
HOTEL AND B&B
- For those who want total independence and a pinch of extra comfort, an overnight stay in a hotel or B&B is certainly the best choice. Private bathroom, daily cleaning and linen change, breakfast included are just some of the services that you can request in the many accommodation facilities in the city. In the heart of the center or in the more residential areas, and with parking available for those arriving by car, with Internet connection, air conditioning, lift… tell us what your preferences are and we will be able to suggest the most suitable accommodation for you.
- Prices vary according to the category of the structures, whether it is high or low season and the length of the stay.
- For stays in high season, especially in conjunction with the events hosted in Turin, it is advisable to book as early as possible.
GENERAL INFORMATIONS
- Availability
- Accommodations are generally available from the Sunday afternoon before the start of your course until the Saturday morning after the course ends. On an early request to extend, and at an additional cost, extra nights can be booked. The request will be acknowledged but it may be confirmed only 10-15 days prior to arrival.
- Address
- Address, telephone numbers and details of the booked accommodation will be definitively confirmed 10-15 days before arrival. In case of booking in a hotel, B&B or private apartment there may be different timing.
- Arrival
- The school and / or the owner of the accommodation must be informed of the estimated time of arrival at least 3-4 days in advance and be contacted promptly in case of problems, sudden delays etc.
- Linen
- The cost of the accommodation generally includes all the basics and sheets which will be changed at least every two weeks, while bathroom linen is not included.
- Keys
- The keys are given to the student, who can use them freely and at any time but is responsible for them and must not pass them on to third parties. In case of theft or loss, the student must immediately notify the owner of the accommodation and reimburse any expenses for changing the lock etc.
- Washing machine
- The washing machine is present in most of the accommodations. In the family stay situation, one wash per week is generally allowed; where a washing machine is not available or a greater number of washes is required, the student can use various laundries around the city.
- Furniture
- The rooms are furnished and equipped with everything the guest needs for a comfortable stay (wardrobe, bed with pillows, light point next to the bed, etc.). The shared apartments also include the use of the kitchen, complete with all necessary utensils.
- Cleaning
- Each student is responsible for the cleanliness and order of their room and common areas of the chosen accommodation and is responsible for any damage. In case of faults, breakdowns or other problems, the student is required to promptly notify the owner of the accommodation.
- Domestic partnership
- Living with an Italian family requires good flexibility and the ability to adapt to their habits, including eating habits, and their daily schedules.
- Those who choose to live in a shared apartment must respect the habits and lifestyles of people from all over the world.
- For those with allergies or special dietary needs: we will do our best to find the ideal family for you but we reserve the right to advise you, in these cases, to book an accommodation that allows you greater independence as families cannot always satisfy your needs.
- Guests
- It is not permitted to have guests in the booked accommodation, unless explicitly authorized by the family / owner of the accommodation.
