Rome and its surroundings offer a seemingly limitless variety of activities for our students to take advantage of. We firmly believe that solely learning within the classroom is not enough to truly learn Italian as it is lived and spoken today. So every month, our cultural department organizes a wide variety of optional extracurricular activities so that our students can easily sign up and participate.
The majority of these extracurricular activities take place outside lesson hours and are a great opportunity to meet and get to know other students.
Every two weeks our school staff distributes a flyer with the planned excursions and activities for the coming weeks.
Students need only pay the entrance fees and cost of transportation for each activity in order to participate.
Examples of some of our regularly offered extracurricular activities in Rome:
- Weekly Tandem Language Exchange - practice your newly learned Italian over a casual aperitivo with foreign and Italian students
- Half-day excursions to nearby towns outside of the city such as Tivoli, Ostia Antica, Castelli Romani, etc.
- Weekly dinner with the school in a typical Roman pizzeria
- Free art historical guided tours throughout Rome offered on a weekly basis
- Free screenings of Italian films every 2 weeks.
- Free pronunciation classes every 2 weeks.
- One or two guided visits a month to a museum (priced according to the cost of admission).
